To say the words new and The Beatles in the same sentence is really a statement for all those fans our there. The Love album is a soundtrack compilation for the Cirque du Soleil show of the same name. The album was produced by George Martin, who produced nearly all of the Beatles' original recordings, and his son Giles Martin.

The genius in the album is not only the way the album runs together track after track but the ways that the Martin boys found to intertwine different song elements into a new re-imagining of these classic songs. On Get Back we get the opening guitar from A Hard Day's Night, the drum and guitar solos from The End, percussion from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise), and the orchestral swell from A Day in the Life. Strawberry Fields Forever builds from an acoustic demo and includes the orchestral section from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, the solo piano from "In My Life", the brass included in "Penny Lane", the cello and harpsichord arrangement from Piggies and the coda of Hello, Goodbye. Drive My Car"/The Word/What You're Doing is a medley features the guitar solo from Taxman and the horns section from Savoy Truffle. Within You Without You/Tomorrow Never Knows is a mash-up style track which combines the vocals from Within You Without You with the bass and drums from Tomorrow Never Knows. Lady Madonna has the original structure but also includes the guitar riff from Hey Bulldog, Eric Clapton's guitar solo from While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Billy Preston's organ solo from I Want You (She's So Heavy). All-in-all, it has been reported that Love contains elements from 130 individual recordings of The Beatles.

Unfortunately, you can not purchase the tacks individually but this is one album you must listen in it's entirety to really feel the love!
